Rolling with… Sun Affair – New Year’s Eve (ft. Aaron Gun)

Australian based songwriter and composer for film Wesley Stormer, otherwise known by his project Sun Affair, recently released a new single, ‘New Year’s Eve’.

The track features the vocal talents of Aaron Gunn: singer-songwriter, producer, and vocalist for Australian indie rock band Vinyl 45. ‘New Year’s Eve’ is dripping in summer sun, leaving you with the snugness of a day spent at the ocean. For those of us in the northern hemisphere we can use the single to pretend as if it’s warmer, for those in the southern hemisphere use this as your carefree anthem immediately! Vocally Gunn’s performance is smooth, wistful, and is reminiscent of a faraway world in which Damien Rice isn’t somber and lets his voice glide into a 70s rock pop zone. Did I mention there’s a sax solo? ‘New Year’s Eve’ will have you searching out previous Sun Affair releases while you await future ones stored in the pipeline. May we suggest ‘Lend Myself’ featuring Lars Porto and ‘After All This Time’ with Rohan Iyer on vocals?
